Research Fellow/Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Biomedical Engineering (Appointment for 12 months with possibility of extension) [Ref. T/079/25]Project

Advancing Stem Cell Therapy by Orchestrating Material Formulation and Artificial Intelligence Optimisation

Duties

1. Develop cryomicroneedles for cell delivery;

2. Create the cryomicroneedles patch to deliver mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) for treating the diabetic wound on the rats; and

3. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. A PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering/Biomaterials/Bioengineering/Medicine;

2. Experience in developing microneedle devices and animal experiments; and

3. Good interpersonal skills; strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation; and ability to work as a good team member are required.

4. Good publication record will be an advantage.

Candidates with a PhD degree with at least 3 years’ relevant post-qualification experience may be considered for appointment as Research Fellow.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
