As a Systems Engineer (Pre-Sales | Cyber Security) at UNOTECH, you will be instrumental in engaging with prospective clients to design, propose, and demonstrate tailored cyber security solutions. Requirements

• At least 2 – 3 years of experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer or Systems Engineer in cyber security or IT infrastructure
• Knowledge of cyber security vendor products (e.g., Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco, Splunk, CrowdStrike, or CheckPoint) is highly desirable
• Strong ability to analyze customer requirements and architect secure, scalable solutions
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to dynamic client needs
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, including responding to ad-hoc requests
• Capable of following technical instructions and seeking clarification when necessary

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer needs and define the scope of cyber security solutions
• Develop technical proposals, including scope of work, resource estimates, and solution architecture for quotations
• Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and technical presentations to showcase solution capabilities
• Provide pre-sales technical support, including answering client inquiries and addressing technical concerns
• Deliver technical deliverables such as solution architecture diagrams, technical proposals, and configuration guides
• Ensure proposed solutions align with customer requirements and meet industry-standard security practices
• Participate in technical training and achieve certifications to maintain expertise in relevant cyber security technologies
• Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions to clients or internal teams as part of pre-sales engagements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field

• Certifications such as:

  • CompTIA Security+
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security
  • AWS Certified Security – Specialty or Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate (preferred)
• Additional certifications like Fortinet NSE, Splunk Certified User, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or CheckPoint Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) are a plus
• Familiarity with ITIL Foundation principles is an advantage
