Service Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Work with the customer service representative to quickly and efficiently solve customers’ security system issues

• Provide support and maintenance services such as routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, system upgrades/expansions/alterations, and systems training

• Increase customer satisfaction and maintain long-term relationships with customers

• Ensure quality of Convergint services by strictly following company standards and policies to deliver a prompt and efficient response to all service requests in the region

• Handle daily troubleshooting and follow up on all open technical issues until the problem is resolved

• Take over all service issues from the project team after the external handover is complete

Requirements: 

• Diploma/Certificate or Degree holder in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant discipline

• With relevant experience in the security industry with knowledge of access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems is considered a plus

• IT knowledge in hardware, network and databases

• Ability to work under pressure

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability

• Strong self-learning ability and able to work independently

• Customer-oriented

• Willing to work overtime which will be entitled to OT pay

• Immediately Available Preferred.
