Security Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Security Engineer to join our team and provide comprehensive support for day-to-day security operations. As part of a collaborative team, you will be responsible for delivering cyber and information security controls to diverse customers. Your role will involve deploying new security systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards and customer requirements. You will also collaborate with product vendors and suppliers to maintain and improve existing security tooling and products.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team to carry out day-to-day security operations support and delivery of cyber and information security controls for different customers.

• Deploy new security systems for customers and align with industry standards and customer requirements.

• Work with product vendors and suppliers to maintain and enhance existing security tooling and products.

• Participate in evaluating and selecting security technologies, tools, and services to enhance security posture.

• Stay up to date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices, and ensure that security controls are updated accordingly.

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field

• Minimum 1-2 years' experience and practical knowledge of implemented and operated information / cyber security

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other teammates

• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Passionate about technology and cyber security
