Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Resource Management / Census Updates / Requisition Requests

o   Work with global stakeholders (weekly touchpoints) to request any new positions including new requisitions and backfills – the list will get reviewed and approved with project sponsors on monthly (2nd Thursday of every month at the Data Leadership Team).

o   Chubb corporate team maintains the entire GDO roster, so the roster should always be accurate / reflect current resource plan based on weekly updates

·         Manage SOWs / Contracts - SOWs are entered into the GDO SOW tracker and the following principles are adhered to:

o   Leverage key strategic partners

o   Aim for 6 month terms (we don’t want to be doing monthly renewals)

o   Try to use MSA and Fixed Bids instead of T&M when possible

o   Bundle key resources into 1 strategic contract as opposed to creating multiple separate contracts for <5 resources

o   Once approved, submit Contracts in Coupa with the appropriate approval chain

o   Timely review / approval of invoices (ensure invoices align with contract terms)

o   Leverage Offshore contract/rates for vendor resources being used in India

·         Monthly Global Project Delivery Updates

o   Update Monthly scorecards

o   Formatting / updates should be executive level

o   Status should be accurate with a path to green for amber / red items.

·         Communicate and work with key stakeholders including Project Sponsors, Business Owners, Country Project Managers and Workstream Leads to ensure program and project deliverables are executed on time, within budget and aligned with business goals;

·         Be an advocate for the introduction of Agile methodologies and ways of working across Chubb Life, including driving the adoption of user stories that rapidly deliver and to a high standard of quality.

  • Identify financial and operating risks and issues affecting the project, putting measures in place to manage and control;

  • Provide ownership and input into project reporting and control processes in line with project management standards;

 

Skill Set

·         Experience in managing Target Operating Model, digital, mobile and life insurance operations projects

·         Able to work under pressure and tight project schedules, including working flexibly in a dynamic environment

·         Comfortable with uncertainty, ambiguity and conflict management

  • Extensive matrix and direct line management experience within a large corporate environment

  • Ability to balance multiple demands and work both independently and as part of a global team to develop and deliver solutions

  • Strong influencing skills; Able to navigate a complex organization and handle conflicting priorities and goals

·         Excellent communication skills with strong oral, written and presentation skills, strong relationship management capabilities;

 

Qualifications:

  • With at least 5 years’ experience in analyzing and managing IT, web, digital and mobile projects.

  • University degree holder in Computer Science, Information System or relevant disciplines. Industry certification is an advantage, e.g. Agile, Scrum Master, PMP

  • Very strong project management skills

  • Experienced in Agile environment, customer experience, digitization of distribution channels in Life insurance are advantageous.

  • Insurance industry experience would be an advantage
