We are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager for our Hong Kong office to lead our Operations team and orchestrate a seamless end-to-end experience from initial pitch through delivery and post-sale support to complaint resolution - across the APAC region. Reporting to the Operations Director APAC, you will oversee technical services in Asia and manage logistics, warehousing, and inventory in Hong Kong and Japan. You will guide the Technical Services and Logistics Team to deliver outstanding customer support and drive continuous, measurable improvements aligned with our business objectives.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the Technical Services in the APAC Region. Lead the Technical Services Team and contractors in providing excellent technical service and customer support. Setting performance goals and implementing best practices to enhance service delivery and teamwork
- Oversee the entire customer journey, in particular key accounts, ensuring a smooth transition from pitching through implementation to ongoing support
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction
- Proactively implement effective complaint resolution strategies, swiftly addressing and resolving customer complaints and concerns
- Manage the Hong Kong warehouse and Japan 3PL operations, improving logistics coordination, customs declaration and inventory management while proactively planning to ensure optimal stock availability and maximizing order fulfillment
- Develop and refine operational processes and performance metrics to enhance efficiency, improve service quality, and elevate customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with Sales and Finance Teams to drive key company projects, ensuring effective communication and execution
- Support the Operations Director APAC in leading the Operations function, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
SKILLS & QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Facilities Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in supply chain within a multinational environment, leading teams across warehousing, logistics, and/or technical services
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is preferred but not required
- A proven track record in managing technical contractors is an advantage
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, excel at presenting technical solutions to internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and experience with business performance metrics
- Strong business acumen with a growth mindset that sees challenges as learning opportunities and a willingness to adapt to industry changes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly proficient in both verbal and written English and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese)
- Proficient in ERP systems
- Openness to conducting conference calls across different time zones
