Merchandise Planning Manager

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage seasonal Open-To-Buy to maximize sales and gross profit;

• Monitor OTB, Delivery Plans and Budget to control and maintain a healthy stock level of HK and Macau;

• Lead a team to perform supplier and brand management including brand development strategy discussions, POS strategy, terms negotiations, and delivery schedule;

• Review and forecast sales performance, by brand / location / category level analysis;

• Recommend action plans with the objectives of maximizing sales potential and sell-through;

• Work with sales team and suppliers to develop collaboration styles;

• Co-ordinate with various departments to support key product launch and in-store activities (e.g. Window display, ads, social media, etc…);

• Review annual contracts with suppliers and negotiate the terms and rebate programs.

   

Requirements:

• Degree in Business or relevant discipline;

• 6-8 years of multi-brand and multi-category retail merchandising planning functions preferably in luxury goods or fashion industry; at least 3 years a managerial level supervising a team;

• Merchandising experience at multi-brand retail chains, or department stores is advantageous;

• Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin);

• Brand Management experience is advantageous;

• Strategic minded, excellent in Excel and Data Analysis, and able to pinpoint key insights to drive business;

• Strong communication skills, project management skills, dedicated, proactive and strong problem solving skills;

• Candidate with less experience can be considered as Assistant Merchandise Planning Manager;

• Immediate available is highly preferred.
