IT Officer

Key responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to end users on PC, Mobile Devices, network, system, hardware, software and application systems.
• Server administration, maintenance and daily monitoring
• Assist in managing hardware & software inventory items and maintain up-to-dated inventory records;
• Assist in exploring and evaluation of new hardware and software;
• Liaise with Vendors on IT procurement
• Participate in IT Projects implementation as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years post-qualification relevant experience in IT projects, with at least 1-2 years at the supervisory level
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to inter-relate seemingly disconnected issues and provide turn-key solutions to resolve these issues
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN.
• Experience in managing and configuring firewall and security systems.
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
