Human Resources Officer
OBJECTIVE/PURPOSE:
It is a position that reports to the Senior Human Resources Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the human capital in the organisation.
To perform HR functions, including but not limited to talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, maintenance of staff data warehouse, and compilation of human resources analytical reports, etc.
PRINCIPAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Manager

Provide a full range of HR support to both the HR team and the Direct Dialogue Team, including but not limited to recruitment, compensation & benefits, HRIS management, HR administration and internal communications.

Responsible for HR systems (HRIS Lite 2), including continuous enhancement of the system and system upgrade, liaising and collaborating with vendors, IT team and system users to ensure smooth operation of the HR system.

Operate and maintain accurate employee records in HR Systems and employees’ personnel files to ensure the quality of employee data and the confidentiality of information.

Administer the payroll and incentive calculation and documentation for the Direct Dialogue Team, and monthly payroll processing, and ensure accurate and timely payments in compliance with the incentive scheme.

Handle all aspects of staff benefits administration, including leave management, staff group medical insurance, etc.

Facilitate and process hiring, pre-boarding, on-boarding, off-boarding, and final payment calculation.

Compile various monthly human resources reports for analysis.

Assist and support the team in the staff engagement programme and HR initiatives, ad-hoc HR activities and strategic HR projects as required.

Support other HR projects when necessary.
Knowledge / Job-Specific Competencies

Higher Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline
-
3 years or more of relevant work experience (experience in an NGO preferred).

Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.

Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Chinese Word Processing.

Familiarity with HRIS operation is preferred.

Knowledge of using pivot tables is a must.

Basic knowledge of employment ordinances and relevant legislation.
