Desktop Support Engineer

Job Description

As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional desktop support services to our users. Your primary duties will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, handling different video and audio conferencing meetings support and troubleshooting issues, assisting with the setup and configuration of desktop systems, and ensuring a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide frontline support for desktop-related issues, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
• Assist users with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop systems and applications
• Respond to and resolve user inquiries and technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Handle different video and audio conferencing meetings support and troubleshooting issues
• Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure the smooth operation of desktop environments
• Document and track support requests and resolutions using our ticketing system
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide the best support possible

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above in IT related disciplines
• 2 years of work experience in user desktop support service is preferred
• Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common desktop applications
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus
• Less experience will be also considered as a junior position
