Assistant IT Manager

TITLE: Assistant IT Manager

Responsibilities:

-          Provide technical support to both corporate offices and retails stores including hardware and software configuration.

-          Maintain infrastructure, networks and servers with support from headquarters IT team

-           IT support for POS, various in-house applications by collaborating with end users and programmers to trouble shoot issues, implement upgrades and changes, and deliver IT solutions.

-          Proactively identify opportunities to enhance workflow efficiency through adoption of latest technologies and automation solutions.

-          Safeguard company data and systems by maintaining network security protocols, firewalls, and disaster recovery plans.

Requirements:

-          Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline

-          Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in IT support preferably in the retail industry

-          Proficiency in network administration (routers, firewalls, VPNs), cybersecurity best practices and cloud-based infrastructure.

-          Good communication and interpersonal skills with strong problem-solving skills

-          A proactive mindset, passion for emerging technologies, and a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Candidates with less experience will consider for the position of Senior IT Officer.
