Project Officer/Executive (Hardlines)

Job Description

As a LIMS System Support Specialist, you will be the go-to person for maintaining our business systems, including STARLIMS and other systems related to SGS testing service. Your responsibilities include:

• Static & Master Data Maintenance:
  

               - Regularly update and maintain static and master data across various business systems

               - Ensure accuracy and consistency in data records

- Regularly review system and modified per business needs

• User Access Management:

               - Manage user access rights to different systems

               - Grant or revoke permissions as needed

• System Training:

               - Conduct training sessions for end-users on system functionalities.

               - Provide guidance and support to end users.

• Issue Resolution:
  

               - Assist users in resolving simple system issues

               - Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot and find solutions

               - Escalate complex issues & end user’s requirements to the IT support team

               - Work with users to generate statistical analysis per the business needs, work with operation team to modify the workflow to attain efficient work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or above degree in Chemistry, Environmental engineering, material engineering or related field
• 1 year or more experience in testing industry or third-party lab
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and collaboration abilities
• Fluent in English, Mandarin/Cantonese
• Knowledge of system coding or Robotic process automation would be advantage
