Associate of Derivatives Trading Operations

About the role:

We are looking for a Associate of Derivatives Trading Operations to join our Derivatives trading team. The Derivatives Operations team is the core department of our company, specifically accountable for futures/swaps trading activities. Its responsibilities encompass numerous aspects, ranging from market analysis, strategy formulation, trade execution to risk management. The primary goals of this division are to guarantee the seamless conduct of the company's futures/swaps trading activities, attain the company's predefined profitability targets, and manage trading risks effectively.

Job Responsibilities:
1.Execute and manage futures/swaps transactions based on commodities trading strategies and customer needs.
2. Monitoring the futures/swaps market and trading risks, timely response to market changes.
3.Responsible for the transaction order entry, confirmation and post-transaction settlement process.
4.Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports of futures/swaps transactions to provide decision-making basis for management.
5.Analyze the movements and trends of the futures/swaps market, and put forward trading suggestions and improvement plans
6.Cooperate with compliance department to complete relevant inspection and audit work.

Job Requirements:
1.University Degree holder preferably in Finance/ Statistics/ Information Technology or related disciplines.
2.Sound knowledge of the futures/swaps products, market practices and the trading platform.
3.Familiar with the futures/swaps of the iron ore product is preferred.
4.Proficient with MS Excel, knowledge in Power BI, SQL and VBA an advantage.
5.Proactive, careful, serious and responsible carefully to complete tasks.
6.Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
7.Shift duties are required, and work experience with shift duties is an added advantage.

The salary is negotiable and will be determined based on the candidate's abilities and experience.
