Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Leading the supporting staff in the provision of administrative services in the Undergraduate Enrolment Team of the Registry;
- Handling course enrolment of undergraduate & sub-degree programmes;
- Executing and overseeing enrolment-related activities, such as the formulation of enrolment schedules and coordination of enrolment logistics;
- Handling all academic probation matters, such as monitoring at-risk students, management of academic probation logistics, and records keeping;
- Liaising with Schools and units on enrolment-related functions such as student progressions, study plans, and study duration;
- Handling course-level system set-up and website update related to enrolment functions;
- Contributing to the review and implementation of policies, regulations, and procedures related to undergraduate enrolment, and its related system enhancement;
- Providing administration support for student record matters, such as registration of students, subsidy applications, other general administrative duties and enquiry services;
- Assisting supervisor(s) in preparation and maintenance of course-related data/files, reports, and committee work;
- Performing any other duties as assigned by the Registrar or his/her nominee(s).
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- A recognized degree or equivalent, with at least 2 years' relevant post-qualification administrative and supervisory experience;
- Excellent communication and writing skills in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, hands on experience in Oracle System and WordPress will be an advantage;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work closely and engage with various stakeholders;
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task;
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills;
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility, pro-active, attentive to details, and able to work independently under tight timeline; and
- Outstanding leadership skills and team spirit.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.
