About the Role

We are looking for a talented Editor to join our Chinese Language Teaching Editorial Team who will be responsible for planning, design, implementation and commissioning of new print and electronic publishing projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning, design, implementation and commissioning of new print and electronic publishing projects
  • Ensure project budget management is under control and on target
  • Establish and maintain a professional network by liaising with authors, freelance contributors, teachers and academic consultants
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on market research, promotion and sales activities
  • Collaborate with design, production and technical teams on publishing and digital/multimedia productions

 

About You

Essential:

  • University degree in Chinese language or related discipline
  • Editorial experience in educational books
  • High level of literacy in written Chinese and Putonghua knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, adaptable, flexible
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Meticulous eye for detail

 

Desirable:

  • Experience in digital publishing is an advantage
