Cyber Security Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s information security policies, standards, and procedures.

• Monitor and assess system vulnerabilities, threats, and potential risks across internal and client-facing applications.

• Conduct regular security audits, penetration testing, and incident response exercises.

• Collaborate closely with software development and to integrate security best practices throughout the development life-cycle (DevSecOps).

• Investigate, document, and report security breaches, and propose remediation plans.

• Manage and maintain security tools such as firewalls, antivirus systems, SIEM, and identity management platforms.

• Stay current with emerging cyber security threats, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

• Provide cyber security awareness training to internal teams and promote a strong security culture within the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cyber security, information security, or IT risk management.

• Strong understanding of network security, application security, and cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure).

• Familiar with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, and GDPR compliance.

• Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment tools, intrusion detection systems, and log monitoring tools.

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly preferred.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

• Proactive mindset and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
