R & D - Watch (Research & Development)

A well-established watch manufacturer with assembling line in Hong Kong, we are seeking high caliber candidate for the above position.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS

• Be in charge of the project management and development of OEM projects for the watch industry
• Review design feasibility and ensure most optimized technical specification
• Prepare quotes to achieve the most optimized cost of goods
• Ensure the projects’ BOM are correctly created within the ERP System
• Supervise samples compliance with technical drawings but also with our main customers’ guidelines
• Proactive in supporting open-innovation (new materials, concepts, new technologies, etc.)
• Investigate and solve problem

Success would be measured as ensuring the project QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery), inclusive (but not limited) to technical drawings compliance, on-time delivery of (good quality) samples,etc.
 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Languages: Proficient in Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) and English
• Successful working experience of 3+ years as R&D
• Higher certificate / diploma / degree in Project Management or R&D
• 3+ years relevant history in the Watch Industry with strong technical background
• Strong track of managing suppliers in China to ensure targets are met. Frequent travels to suppliers in China are required
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast pace industry.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Motivated, open minded and a creative force of improvement
• Strong in technical and communications, solid "CAN-DO" attitude

REMUNERATION PACKAGE

• 5-day work week
• 14 days annual leave
