Youth Worker (STEAM Education) (Creative Education Unit)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• To conduct coding or technology-related training activities for students of primary to secondary schools, including research and development of teaching content, preparing and conducting trainings.
• To organise different STEAM activities, including competitions, seminars and carnivals, etc.
• To develop promotion strategies/campaigns for website, facebook and/or any other social media platforms for the service unit.
• To occasionally lead youth on exchange tours to Mainland China or overseas.
• To perform any other duties as required by The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups.

Entry Requirements:

Study Fields:

• Degree holder in technology or science discipline is preferable
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Preference will be given to candidates with relevant knowledge or experience in Youth Service, organising STEAM activities and event management
• Familiar with technology, e.g. AI, robot, programming, or other related fields
• Detail-oriented, good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Hand-on experience in teaching is preferable

• Passionate to work with youth and STEAM education
• Persistent, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• A good team player, outgoing and energetic
• Eager to keep abreast of science and technology development
