Senior Application Architect

Responsibilities :

• Lead the collection and analysis of user and system requirements to inform architecture and design decisions

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems

• Prepare technical specifications, system documentation, and development reports

• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to clean code and architectural standards

• Oversee system and user acceptance testing UAT processes

• Provide technical support and troubleshoot system issues

• Mentor and support junior developers, promoting knowledge sharing and team growth

Requirements :

• Bachelorʼs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• At least 8 years of experience in web application development and system integration

• Proven hands-on experience in backend development using Node.js, TypeScript, and the NestJS framework

• Application Architect / Backend Development Lead                                                                

• Solid understanding of RESTful API development and integration

• Experience working with MySQL or other relational databases

• Hands-on knowledge of AWS is required; experience with GCP or Azure is a plus

• Familiarity with microservices architecture is an advantage

• Experience with Linux environments and Docker containers is preferred

• Proficient in using Git and other version control systems

• Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies is a plus

• Strong grasp of software development lifecycle, system design methodologies, and documentation standards

• Able to work independently, demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving abilities, and manage tight schedules effectively

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Proficiency in Cantonese and English is required
