Job Description

Project Title: Enhancing holistic well-being for underprivileged children living in rural mainland China

[Appointment Period: 3 months]

The appointee will be responsible for supporting research projects. He/she will assist in searching and reviewing literature, analyzing survey and interview data, writing the reports, managing administrative work, supervise other research assistants and part-time student helpers, and performing other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator.

Applicants should have at least Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects including Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics in HKDSE; or Grade E (Level 2) or above in five subjects including Chinese, English (Syllabus B) and Mathematics in HKCEE or equivalent, preferably with a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or other related field. Applicants should be proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese, self-motivated, and willing to learn to handle unfamiliar tasks. Past experience of using qualitative and quantitative research software (e.g., Nviov, SPSS, Mplus) is also preferable. The knowledge and skills related to advanced modeling in statistics will be advantages. Shortlists candidates may be invited to sit for a written test.
