Public Affairs Officer (Media and Public Relations), Public Affairs Office (Ref.: 25/76/PAO/PR)


Job Highlights

  • Maintain official website, create and manage content of social media

  • Manage relationships with media, stakeholders, and external agencies

  • Implement content management and copywriting such as website, newsletters, annual report, press release

  • Experience in public relations or digital marketing will be an advantage

 

Duties:

1.      Draft and manage communication collaterals including press releases, social media posts, fact sheets, and presentation materials;

2.      Maintain and manage official websites through coordination with internal stakeholders;

3.      Draft and create content on the university’s social media platforms; and

4.      Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Appointment Criteria:

1.       Recognised bachelor’s degree in media, public relations, or related disciplines;

2.      Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in public relations, corporate communication or digital marketing;

3.      Experience in web management is highly advantageous;

4.      Working knowledge of website management tools, SEO, HTML/ CSS, XML, Office 365; knowledge of Javascript is preferred but not necessary;

5.      Able to work independently and cope with pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced working environment;

6.      Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; and

7.      Immediate availability would be an advantage.
