Marketing Manager – China

Responsibilities:

• Initiate, develop and execute marketing promotions, events, PR activities and advertising plans to drive sales throughout the retail trade, and deliver in a timely basis
• Explore new opportunities to facilitate retail performance
• Negotiate with external parties and liaise with internal teams to develop, coordinate and execute different marketing campaigns to improve retail performance
• Establish and maintain strong connection with celebrities, influencers and their agents
• Work closely with cross function partners to facilitate brand engagement activities
• Accelerate luxury standards and elevate corporate image throughout internal and external communication channels
• Plan and manage overall budget for all marketing related activities
• Work on ad hoc assignments and brand specific projects as requested

Requirements:

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration or related disciplines
• Min. 8 years of experience in PR, events and advertising, preferably in retail, luxury brands or PR agencies; at least 3 years in managerial level
• Strong network and in-depth knowledge of latest media relations, experience with celebrity collaboration will be a plus
• Strategic thinker and a good team player with excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills
• Well-organized and able to work under pressure independently in fast paced environment
• Proficient written and spoken English & Chinese
• Frequent travel to China is required
