Job Description

Assistant Manager

Student Affairs Section, Student Admissions and Administration Office

 

 Key Responsibilities

  • In charge of college events, including scholarship presentation ceremony, student orientations, career fairs, flag raising ceremony, and other student development activities;

  • Budget planning and financial related matters;

  • Work with other departments of the College and external organizations on student affairs matters;

  • Draft and revise guidelines and policies for the unit, and prepare various kinds of reports;

  • Any other duties as assigned.

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree holder with at least 8 years’ relevant hands-on managerial experience at supervisory level, preferably in field of tertiary education;

  • Strong leadership with the ability to handle crises and complex issues tactfully in a fast-changing environment;

  • Self-motivated qualities with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently;

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving and negotiation skills;

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
