Assistant Manager - Finance

Who We Are Looking For:

We are currently seeking a passionate and forward-thinking Assistant Finance Manager to join NTT DATA’s global payment hub, which is headquartered in Hong Kong. This is an exciting key role in the global organization and reports directly to the Head of Finance in Hong Kong.  This role will be responsible for financial planning and providing support to the Head by offering insights and financial advice to allow them to make the best business decisions for the company. Specific duties include:

• Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts for the business to ensure financial stability;

• Compile financial reports and supervises month-end processes;

• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of audit schedules, account reconciliation and tax schedules for audit preparation and compliance with tax and regulatory authorities;

• Coordinate accounting functions for the inter-company transactions and reconciliation;

• Assist to coordinate internal control system and monitor execution of internal control process;

• Assist in statutory audit and coordinate with the external auditor;

• Provide financial insights and advice to Management; and

• Perform ad hoc assignments from time to time;

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance with professional qualification;

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience gained from MNC with group consolidation experience; (pure audit experience is not considered)

• Well-versed in HKFRS/IFRS is a must;

• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and Power Point, including Pivot Table, V-lookup etc;

• Experience in working with ACCPAC (Sage 300);

• Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving skill and ability to work under pressure;

• Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin (both oral and written);

• A good team player, highly analytical, independent and self-driven;

• Willing to work in a small team with fast pace; and

• Proactive, dynamic and able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
