We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager – Digital Analytics & Marketing Insights to join the HKUST MBA program. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in leveraging data-driven marketing strategies to enhance our brand positioning and optimize candidate engagement.

Your responsibilities will focus on digital performance tracking, data visualization, and analytical decision-making to ensure our marketing initiatives effectively attract and engage high-quality candidates. You will analyze campaign metrics, create interactive dashboards, and implement predictive analytics to refine targeting strategies and maximize impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy and Planning

  • Develop comprehensive marketing plans and strategies to effectively promote the HKUST MBA program.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify target demographics, market trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate with the admissions team to align marketing initiatives with enrollment targets.

Data Analytics, Visualization & Reporting

  • Develop interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Google Looker Studio to present campaign performance and user behaviour insights.
  • Translate complex datasets into visually compelling reports for stakeholders, supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Monitor and analyze digital marketing metrics across various platforms (Google Analytics, Google Search CRM, social media insights).
  • Utilize AI-driven analytics tools to identify trends, forecast campaign outcomes, and optimize marketing strategies.
  • Conduct sentiment analysis and audience segmentation to refine targeting for personalized marketing efforts.

Data Automation & Marketing Tech Integration

  • Streamline data collection and reporting processes using automation tools to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure seamless integration between marketing platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools for a cohesive digital strategy.

Content Creation and Marketing Collateral

  • Develop compelling and persuasive content for various marketing channels, including website, brochures, presentations, and e-newsletters.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, faculty, corporate partners, alumni and students to gather content and testimonials that highlight the unique aspects of the HKUST MBA program.
  • Ensure all marketing collateral is up to date, accurate, and aligned with the program's messaging and branding.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing, preferably within the education or higher education sector.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing techniques and platforms, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with the HKUST MBA programs or similar programs is a plus.
