The Department is looking for a responsible, self-motivated and high-caliber individual to fill the position of Assistant Manager (Academic Program & Outreach). The appointee will provide a wide range of administrative and executive support to the Department’s academic programs, activities, committees, and faculty members.
Key duties include providing administrative support for student admissions and recruitment across various channels, monitoring academic program operations, supporting student advising and study matters, administering awards and scholarships, coordinating alumni activities, planning and executing promotion campaigns and outreach events, formulating departmental marketing strategies, providing secretarial support to committees, supervising supporting staff to maintain effective operation in the General Office and performing other ad hoc projects and administrative duties as assigned.
Applicant should have a bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant post-qualification work experience, preferably in administering academic programs and organizing events. The appointee should be a self-motivated person with an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua), good analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate should enjoy interacting with students and is expected to be an excellent team-player who is able to work independently. Good IT knowledge is highly desirable. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
