We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead our cloud and infrastructure strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions across multiple platforms, including Azure, Alibaba Cloud, and Oracle Cloud. You will drive the development of long-term cloud roadmaps, review and optimize existing environments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative cloud infrastructure solutions. Your strategic vision and technical expertise will enable our organization to adopt emerging cloud technologies effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy development on Cloud & Infrastructure
• Review the existing Cloud strategy and the existing environment
• Develop a roadmap for the upcoming 3 to 5 years (e.g., adoption of new technologies, existing design/structure changes, principles for new workloads to be put in on-premise / cloud, etc.)

Projects

• Review design provided by project teams/vendors and develop detailed level design on Cloud & infra components
• Be part of the delivery team to work together with engineers during implementation to ensure systems delivered align with design / technical requirements
• Develop strategy/directions on new technologies/tools for the engineers or the operations team to follow
• Provide advisory or recommendations to other project teams on IT infrastructure & cloud-related design & implementation

BAU

• Capable of analyzing existing IT infrastructure to ensure security and efficacy
• Recommend improvement or alternative technologies on Cloud & Infra to better meet business needs
• Keep Cloud & Infra architecture documents up-to-date

Required Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in an Architect role in Cloud and/or IT Infrastructure
• Professional certifications in Azure, Alibaba Cloud, Oracle Cloud
• Proven experience in strategic planning in Cloud & IT infrastructure development
• Architectural knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including networking, servers, storage, and virtualization
• Experience in Public Cloud, Private Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, and Multi-Cloud architecture design
• Sound experience with event-driven architecture, DevOps, and DevSecOps
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Able to think out of the box in architectural design and resolve conflicts
• Solid experience in defining guiding principles for cloud platform adoption and integration patterns
• Keep updated on market information and stay updated on the latest technology trends in architecture
• TOGAF or relevant will be an added advantage
