We are seeking an Assistant QSHE Manager to oversee the implementation, management, and compliance of quality, safety, health, and environmental systems.

Your Role

You will ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of QSHE systems at the office and the site. Your expertise will help us meet regulatory and company standards, train employees in QSHE best practices, and deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the person in-charge for all QSHE matters.

• Lead investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for safety and quality issues.

• Coordinate and implement quality and safety standards, policies, and procedures.

• Train staff and supervisors on accident prevention, product/process safety, and operational excellence.

• Provide hands-on training to employees when necessary.

• Monitor and address project quality issues.

• Conduct audits to evaluate and improve QSHE systems and procedures.

• Assess and mitigate health and safety risks with corrective actions.

• Manage the approved supplier list using supplier management tools.

• Maintain calibration records, reports, and equipment documentation.

• Update and manage QSHE training matrices, records, and certifications.

• Host audits conducted by clients, third parties, and government agencies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science or related disciplines.

• A Registered Safety Officer is a must.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in QSHE roles within the construction industry.

• 2+ years of experience working with quality systems.

• 1+ year of experience in leadership or training experience.

• Strong knowledge of occupational health, safety, workplace hazards, and associated controls. 

• Familiarity with ISO and OSHA standards. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 

• Experience with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) compliance. 

• Related certifications (e.g., Safety and Quality Management and audit) are a plus. 

• Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Senior QSHE Officer.
