Senior Shipping Clerk

About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Shipping Clerk to join our growing Import/Export at Nu-Power Workshop in Lai Chi Kok, Sham Shui Po District. This full-time role is integral to ensuring the timely and efficient processing of all shipping and logistics operations for our manufacturing business.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate the import and export of products, overseeing all shipping and customs clearance processes
• Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including invoices, packing slips, and customs declarations
• Liaise with logistics providers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods
• Monitor shipment progress and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records and inventory of all imported and exported materials
• Identify opportunities to streamline shipping processes and reduce costs
• Provide guidance and training to junior members of the shipping team

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a shipping or logistics role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
• Excellent knowledge of import/export procedures, customs regulations, and documentation requirements
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Fluency in English and Cantonese, with Mandarin skills an advantage
