Assistant / Quality Control Chemist

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for day to day chemical analysis of TCM raw/in-process materials and finished products;
• Inventory control of laboratory supplies;
• Assist in development, modification and validation of testing method;
• Conduct calibration and routine maintenance of laboratory instrumentation;
• Assist in generation and review of laboratory documents;
• Responsible for training of junior laboratory staff; &
• Implement requirements of GMP in daily operation.

Job Requirements

• Degree or above in Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry or related discipline;
• Minimum 1 year hands on experience chemical testing preferably in pharmaceutical, herbal material or food testing;
• Knowledge on method development and validations will have additional advantage;
• Familiar with instrumental analysis including GC-FID and HPLC;
• Experience with GMP and ISO 17025 is preferred but not essential;
• Self-initiative and a good team player;
• Proficient in written/spoken English and Chinese;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; &

• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Quality Control Chemist.
