Systems Analyst / Analyst Programmer (Decision Support Services)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for architect and implement scalable data warehouse and cloud-based BI products

• Collect, analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specification

• Access new technologies and conduct proof of concept

• Provide architecture design, build and maintain end-to-end data ETL pipelines including data collection, transformation, and integration solutions to facilitate robust data analytics products

• Implement migration strategies for existing application from on-premises to cloud infrastructure

Requirements :

• Diploma or Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline

• 3+ years in data engineering role or business analytics solution is preferred

• In-depth knowledge of ETL / ELT solutions, data modelling and data warehouse

• Exposure to big data technologies and ecosystems is a plus

• Hands-on experience with cloud migration from on-premises to cloud services

• Solid experience with AWS / Azure cloud services (e.g. Azure Data Factory) is an advantage

• Knowledge in BI data analytics and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, SSRS) is a plus

• Proficiency with SQL is required. Experience with other data manipulation technology is helpful

• Practical experience in Python / JavaScript / C# / Java is an advantage

• Good analytical and communication skills

• Candidates with less experience would be considered as Analyst Programmer.
