R&D Manager (Ref: CC/CISC/RDM)

Responsibilities:     

• Lead and manage R&D team, and report to the Project Coordinators

• Supervise the planning, execution and monitoring the R&D projects

• Oversee research activities and develop knowledge-based products and solutions for the company

• Plan and manage all aspects of work related to R&D and products & solutions development, including proof of concepts, solution architectures, costs estimation

• Collaborate with different stakeholders (internal and external) and team members to achieve business objectives in an effective and efficient manner

• Lead and manage a team for the R&D and products & solutions development activities to keep the team up-to-date with the latest technologies, especially in the area related to artificial intelligence and machine learning domain

Requirements:     

• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline         

• 5+ years of solid work experience in R&D and software development, including 2+ years at the project and team management role 

• Strong technical knowledge in R&D and/or products development related to artificial intelligence and machine learning, software architecture, integration design and project delivery in web design framework, C#, Java, and Python development     

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Self-motivated, quick learner, and with positive thinking

• Good communication skills and detail-oriented

• Proficient in English and Cantonese
