Assistant Professor / Senior Lecturer

Responsibilities:

• Undertake teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels;

• Undertake duties in course / programme / curriculum review and development;

• Review and prepare teaching and learning materials and to mark students’ assignments, reports and examination scripts for course assessment;

• Perform academic and administrative duties and attend meetings in relation to student and academic administration; and

• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Dean of Faculty or Head of Department.

Requirements:

• A Ph.D degree in accounting-related fields is preferred for the position of Department Head and a master degree for other positions;

• HKICPA/ACCA qualifications are preferred;

• Tertiary teaching and relevant research experience;

• Expertise and qualifications relevant to MBA teaching are also preferred; 

• A passionate, visionary and capable leader with rich experience in performing academic and administrative duties for the position of Department Head;

• Keen and affable teacher as well as a good publications record indicating research capability;

• A good interpersonal and team-building skills;

• Strong communication skills in both English and Putonghua.
