職位描述

We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in Office for Advancement of Learning and Teaching (ALTO):

Assistant Publishing and Web Officer (ALTO) (Ref: 24000KZ)

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

  • Handling page layout for course materials using in-house tools (e.g. CMS) and/or Adobe InDesign
  • Working with editors to update existing course materials and preparing files for output in print format
  • Preparing e-versions of new and existing course materials (PDF and ePub), including setting web links and interactive elements, and updating HTML components
  • Assisting editors with admistrative tasks, such as data entry for copyright clearance purposes
  • Undertaking other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Advancement of Learning and Teaching and his/her nominees.

Requirements

Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

  • A higher diploma, preferably a recognized degree
  • At least 2 years’ relevant post-qualification experience
  • Good communication and organizational skills, meticulousness and proficiency in both English and Chinese
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changes.

Shortlisted candidates may be invited to participate in a trade test.

An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates.
