Responsibilities:
- To coordinate the use of resources and facilities, and provide advice in the practical areas of need;
- To help maintain the primary and secondary makerspaces for student use, keep equipment and materials safe and in good working order;
- Assist educators with materials purchases and setup of spaces;
- To assist students during classes in the makerspace;
- To ensure the availability of suitable materials and equipment, helping to compile orders and liaising or negotiating with suppliers and finance departments;
- To work with outside organizations as required;
- To offer administrative support and perform other duties as assigned; and
- To maintain and promote a healthy, safe and efficient working environment for all members of the ISF community.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree is desired;
- With technical experience in a K-12 setting;
- Comfortable to learn how to use technologies including 3-D printers, laser cutters, other digital fabrication tools;
- 3D modeling experience desired;
- Strong IT and procurement tools;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin); and
- Meticulous, detail-oriented with high initiative.
