System Analyst (Multiple vacancies, Frontend or Backend)

Our clients include major enterprises and organizations in the Finance, Manufacturing, Public Utility, Retail, healthcare and Government sectors. We are looking for System Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to assess technical requirements and deliver cutting-edge solutions. Supervise junior staff in front-end and back-end development
• Leadership in Technical Discussions: Lead technical negotiations and discussions with external vendors and internal stakeholders
• Technical Documentation: Develop comprehensive technical design and architecture documents to guide and document development efforts
• Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues, conducting root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences
• Requirement Analysis: Work with stakeholders to gather and analyze user requirements for application enhancements
• Application Platform Leadership: Lead the implementation of the application platform
• Development Standards Compliance: Ensure adherence to development standards as per company guidelines

Entry Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience in Information Technology (IT)

Preferable Attributes/Exposure:

Frontend focus:

• Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale systems. Proficiency in React ecosystem (Redux, React-router, Hooks, etc.) and web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ES6, WebSocket, TypeScript, and Material UI
• Skills: Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Git version control system, GitHub Actions, Docker, Helm Chart, OpenShift, or Pipeline usage. Understanding of Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS)
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to solve problems and lead junior team members effectively
• Experience: Exposure to working with offshore development teams is a plus
• Personal Attributes: Mature, self-motivated, independent, and capable of working under pressure
  Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A dedicated team player committed to delivering high-quality services
• Language Skills: Proficient in both written and spoken English and Cantonese

Backend focus:

• Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale systems. Proficiency in:
  1. ORM frameworks like JPA/MyBatis
  2. Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate
  3. Node.js with NestJS experience
  4. Communication protocols including HTTPS, TCP, UDP, and WebSocket
  5. Role-Based Access Control Development
  6. Oracle and/or NoSQL databases, including data modeling and aggregation pipelines
  7. Understanding of GitHub Actions, Docker, Helm Chart, OpenShift, or Pipeline usage
  8. Understanding of Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS)
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and experience in leading junior staff members.
• Experience: Exposure to working with offshore development centers is advantageous.
• Personal Attributes: Mature, self-motivated, independent, and adept at working under pressure.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. A collaborative team player dedicated to delivering high-quality services.
• Language Proficiency: Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese.
