Senior Technical Specialist, Cyber Security - ESF Centre

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, enhance and implement IT infrastructure solutions with the appropriate cyber defence mechanisms
• Work with and manage external vendors on outsourced services, including but not limited to various cloud services as well as cyber defence and monitoring
• Assist in IT infrastructure project implementation
• Keep current on the IT threat landscape and upcoming trends in security and provide recommendations on improving IT security
• Assist in the administration, support and operation of the IT infrastructure components as well as the cloud services provided by Google and Microsoft
• Provide urgent after-office-hours support for critical issues related to IT infrastructure

Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT security or related disciplines
• At least 3 years of work experience in Cyber Security / IT infrastructure field
• Experience with major brands of Firewalls, Switches and Servers OS
• Experience with 3rd party SOC SIEM ticket handling is preferred
• Knowledge of products such as CyberArk PAM, DLP, MDM, and PA Cortex is advantageous
• Excellent client-facing skills, verbal and written communication in English and the ability to interact professionally with Senior Staff and diverse groups of stakeholders
• Hands-on experience with large-scale IT project implementation
• Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently and in a team environment
