We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QA Specialist / Assistant Manager / Manager to support the Quality Assurance team in maintaining and enhancing product and service quality standards across the organization.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Perform routine product quality checking, lines inspection and retention sampling at various stages of kitchenware manufacturing processes.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining the documentation of quality and kitchenware safety management system.
- Work closely with the purchasing team to verify product information from suppliers.
- Responsible for assessing the risks of new kitchenware products developed in accordance with safety testing standards, and product specification to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Assist in handling customer enquiries and complaints related to kitchenware quality & safety, conducting root cause analysis and following corrective action.
- Participate in internal and external audits and training programs.
- Inspect and determine the quality of raw materials, semi-finished products, finished products, packaging, and outgoing goods.
- Assist in other ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Candidates with less experience may be considered.
YOU COME WITH
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in a similar position, preferably in manufacturing, focusing on kitchenware or general hard goods products (major products - plastic)
- Understanding of quality requirements/returning policies for the APAC markets.
- Familiar with Europe and America food laws & regulations, such as ISO 9001 audit and certificate etc.
- Excellent qualitative, analytical, and communication skills with all levels of staff.
- Strong problem-solving and management skills, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in both verbal and written business English; fluency in Mandarin is a plus
- Well-versed in MS Office applications
- Travel to China and Southeast Asia are required
