The appointee will work at the Finance & Development team under the Faculty and Planning Office, Faculty of Medicine. He/She may need to work on both sites of CUHK campus and Prince of Wales Hospital. Duties include (a) providing assistance in building, classroom and facilities management and administration; (b) supporting the planning and execution of the Faculty’s Redevelopment/Expansion Project; (c) compiling data, reports, floor plans and meeting notes; (d) handling procurement related tasks; (e) liaising and collaborating with internal and external counterparts, including colleagues, contractors and vendors; (f) providing secretarial and administrative support to the seniors; and (g) performing other tasks as assigned.
Applicants should have/be (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience; (iii) proficient in written and spoken Chinese and English; (iv) proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Chinese word-processing; (v) a strong sense of responsibility and execution capability, and attentiveness to details; and (vi) self-motivated, a good communicator and team-player. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
