The appointee will be responsible for (a) planning and executing the Faculty’s events and projects of various scales, including ceremonies, dinners, lectures, exhibitions, and other deliverables in excellent quality; (b) providing secretarial and administrative support to organising committees and deanery for the Faculty’s events and projects; (c) maintaining good relationships with different parties, including vendors, schools, departments, alumni, etc., for the Faculty’s initiatives; (d) producing marketing collaterals and publications (both online and offline); (e) building database and online forms; (f) handling chores of the team; and (g) performing duties as assigned by the supervisor. Working during non-office hours and at weekends with short notice may be required.

Applicants should have (i) a recognised Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience in marketing or event management; (iii) an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including fluency in Putonghua); (iv) good IT proficiency (e.g. MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint), and knowledge of database and online form set-up; (v) good team spirit with strong organisational and problem-solving skills; (vi) high self-motivation, and the ability to work independently and as a team member to meet tight deadlines promptly with minimal supervision, and work under pressure in a multi-tasking environment; and (vii) a meticulous attitude and attentiveness to details, especially with data and figures. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test in both English and Chinese.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract) commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
