Project Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) (2 posts) in the HKU Musketeers Foundation Institute of Data Science (Ref.: 533545) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communication, marketing, or media-related disciplines, with at least 2 years of full-time work experience, preferably in tertiary education. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications. They should also demonstrate a willingness to learn, good interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and be detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility. Experience and knowledge in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro are required.
The appointees will be responsible for managing photography and video content, including shooting and editing for the events and activities of the Institute. They will assist in e-marketing and promoting the Institute's services, programs, and branding campaigns using multimedia means. The appointees will also provide comprehensive clerical and administrative support for non-credit bearing programmes, seminars, workshops, conferences, and outreach activities, including logistical support, venue/catering arrangements, speaker invitations and coordination, financial settlements, and meeting arrangements, as well as perform any other duties as assigned.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, along with annual leave and medical benefits. The appointees may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends.
