Duties
The appointee will provide professional career advice and training to students and other related parties, and work up to 17 hours per week. Main duties include to:

Conduct one-on-one career consultations with undergraduate and postgraduate students; and provide them with professional guidance in career planning, job search strategies, CV writing, interview preparation, internship and graduate employment, and industry trends;

Plan, design and deliver career preparatory and employability training workshops [including those integrated with personality and career assessments tools (e.g. MBTI, Workplace Big Five etc.)];

Administer and interpret personality and career assessment tools to support students’ self-understanding and career decision-making;
-
Develop training materials and resources tailored to students’ developmental needs and employer expectations; and
-
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
-
A Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a postgraduate qualification;

At least 10 years’ working experience in industry sectors (e.g. consulting, education, engineering, government, marketing, technology, MNCs, NGOs and start-up etc.) with exposure to career counselling/assessment, learning and development, talent development/mentoring;

Good knowledge of local and international labour market trends and graduate employment landscape in Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas;

Knowledge and exposure in developing/conducting career education programmes, assessment centres and administering personality/aptitude assessments;

Formal certification in personality assessment tools (e.g. MBTI, Workplace Big Five etc.) and ability to integrate these into consultation and training services, and other recognised tools used in career development and personality profiling;

Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;

Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and
-
Proficiency in computer applications (such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) are required.

Formal training/certification in career development facilitation/career counselling/career assessment is highly preferred.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
