IBD Director(IPO Sponsor Principal)

Responsibilities:

1. Manages and leads the origination and execution of IPOs and other capital markets transactions, including project management/coordination, due diligence and project execution

2. Assists in deal assessment and due diligence reviews for internal approvals

3. Supervises the project team; provides guidance and support to junior staff

4. Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations including internal policies and procedures

5. Communicates and coordinates with internal/external clients, professional parties and regulators 

Requirements:

1. University degree in accounting or finance with professional qualifications (i.e. CPA/CFA) is preferred

2. SFC Type 6 RO with IPO Sponsor Principal qualification 

3. At least 10 years of solid experience in corporate finance with good track record of successful IPOs as sponsor

4. Strong knowledge in the Listing Rules is required and Takeovers Codes is preferred

5. Independent, proactive, responsible, a good team player and willing to travel

6. Good communication, analytical and problem solving skills; and

7. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is a must
