Design Quality Engineer‌ - Station in Dongguan

DQE's core responsibility is to ensure that products meet quality and reliability requirements during design, manufacture and use through quality control at the design stage, while driving continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Design Review and Verification

• Participate in product design review to ensure design meets quality standards and customer requirements.
• Develop and execute a Design Verification plan (DVP) to ensure that the design meets functional, performance and reliability requirements.

2. Quality Planning

• Develop a quality control plan (QCP) and identify key quality control points.
• Participate in design failure Mode and Impact Analysis (DFMEA) to identify potential risks and develop preventive measures.

3. Testing and Evaluation

• Monitor testing during the design phase to ensure that all key metrics are covered.
• Analyze test data, identify design defects and make recommendations for improvement

4. Cross-Departmental Collaboration

• Work with PD, production, supply chain, etc., to ensure that designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
• Communicate with the customer to ensure that the design meets customer needs and solves related problems.

5. Problem-Solving

• Lead the root cause analysis of design problems and promote the solution of problems.
• Follow up the improvement of design problems to ensure that the problems are effectively resolved.

6. Document Management

• Ensure that the design documentation is complete and accurate and meets the requirements of the quality management system.
• Maintain design change records to ensure that changes are fully validated and approved.

7. Continuous Improvement

• Drive continuous improvement of design process to improve design quality and efficiency.
• Share quality improvement experience and enhance team quality awareness.

8. Compliance With Regulations and Standards

• Ensure design compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Track regulatory changes to ensure ongoing design compliance.

9. Client Support

• Participate in customer complaint analysis and provide technical support.
• Assist customers to understand product design features and quality control measures.

10. Training and Guidance

• Provide team training on quality tools and methods.
• Guide new employees to ensure they understand design quality control.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as design, garment or Quality Management
• At least 3 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in the garment or knitwear sector
• Thorough understanding of quality management principles, tools, and techniques, including statistical process control and root cause analysis
• Proficiency in interpreting and applying international quality standards (e.g., DVP, (DFMEA)
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proven track record of implementing quality improvement initiatives and driving continuous improvement
