Who We Are Looking For:

We are currently seeking a highly competent and experienced Solution Analyst Lead to join NTT DATA’s global payment hub, which is headquartered in Hong Kong. As a Solution Analyst Lead, you will be responsible for gathering requirements from the clients and translate it into functional specifications for the development team and QA team. Think through the whole solution from end-to-end to provide the most flexible, reliable and scalable solution to not only external clients but also internal systems.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Lead the Solution Analyst team for Payment Gateway and related applications;

• Design of integration of existing and future merchant, processors and acquirer connections;

• Contributing to company’s solution design principals;

• Determine operational objectives by studying business background and objectives; gathering requirements; evaluating output requirements and formats;

• Construct workflow and architecture diagrams, network diagrams, logic flow chart; studying system capabilities;

• Writing detailed functional requirements and specifications, RESTful API specifications, acceptance criteria, etc.;

• Work as a virtual team member in Agile Scrum managed projects;

• Manage and support team members’ progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions by accomplishing related results as needed;

• Adhere to PCI-DSS and other security related best practises;

• Prepare technical reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information and trends;

• Contribute to team effort by supporting other team members 

• Understand DB concepts (mySQL); and

• Actively participate in the implementation of continuous improvement processes.  

Requirements and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or similar in appropriate field of study;

• Minimum 4 – 7 years of experience;

• Experience in the payments industry is an advantage;

• Technical aptitude and proficiency with RESTful API, SQL, and cloud hosting;

• Analytical nature with the ability to solve complex business issues;

• Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to build effective stakeholders relationships;

• Enterprise-level business project experience with strong process analysis, design, and documentation skills;

• Experience in UI/UX including application flow and mockup design;

• Detail-oriented, analytical and inquisitive; 

• Ability to work independently and with others;

• Extremely organized with strong time-management skills;

• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills; 

• Good interpersonal and communication skills; and

• Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese (Japanese would be an advantage).
