Business Analyst (QA/Tester)

About the role

Excel Technology International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) professional to join our team. This full-time role will be based in our Kwai Chung, Kwai Tsing District office and will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our technology solutions.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and executing comprehensive test plans to validate the functionality, usability and performance of our software applications
2. Identifying, documenting and tracking software defects and working closely with development teams to resolve issues
3. Automating repetitive testing processes to improve efficiency and coverage
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement quality assurance best practices
5. Providing regular status updates and reporting on testing progress and metrics
6. Continuously exploring new testing methodologies and tools to improve the QA process

What we're looking for

1. Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, with exposure to both manual and automated testing
3. Strong understanding of testing methodologies, software development life cycles and quality assurance best practices
4. Proficient in using testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
5. Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
6. Experience in the banking industry is preferred
