Cloud System Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Cloud System Engineer to manage, deploy, and optimize our cloud infrastructure and services. This role ensures operational excellence and delivers robust cloud solutions and technical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Implement, configure, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and virtualization components, to support new services and clients.

• Operational Support: Provide Tier 2 technical support for cloud services, ensuring high availability, reliability, and scalability.

• Monitoring & Maintenance: Perform monitoring, troubleshooting, system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning for cloud platforms.

• Customer Solutions: Provision and deploy cloud-based customer solutions (Hybrid Cloud, Managed Services) and implement cloud-related change requests.

• Quality & Processes: Uphold compliance with IT standards (e.g., ISO9001, ISO27001) and contribute to automation tools for operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud system engineering or IT infrastructure roles, preferably within ISP or CT industries.
• Strong expertise in Windows and Linux server environments.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing concepts, virtualization technologies, networking (TCP/IP, Routing, VPN), and storage.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, manage multiple tasks, and work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and/or traditional infrastructure certifications (e.g., LPI, VCP) are highly desirable.
