ESG Manager / Senior ESG Manager

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate ESG professional to lead sustainability initiatives across the Connor Group. This role will drive the development and execution of a multi-year ESG roadmap aligned with client expectations and international standards. Candidates with substantial experience may be considered for the Senior level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead a 3–5 year ESG roadmap aligned with global standards and client priorities.

• Define and execute group-wide ESG strategies, embedding sustainability into sourcing, operations, and decision-making.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful rollout of ESG programs and communicate progress to senior leadership.

• Monitor and enhance ESG performance metrics, including Scope 1 and 2 emissions, in coordination with executive teams.

• Oversee data management systems, reporting tools, and regulatory compliance.

• Represent the organization in ESG-related forums, certifications, and industry events.

• Support supply chain traceability and vendor onboarding to ESG platforms.

• Promote sustainable practices across the supply chain (e.g., waste reduction, circularity, sustainable raw materials).

• Partner with IT to expand the material innovation library and support sustainable product development.

• Plan and execute ESG campaigns and internal training to raise awareness and drive cultural change.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Social Science, Material/Textile Engineering, Business Analysis, or related fields.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

• Strong command of English; Chinese language skills a plus.

• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; Power BI or other analytics tools preferred.

• Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Familiarity with ESG frameworks and standards (e.g., HIGG, Sedex, BSCI, CDP, ZDHC, SA8000).

• Knowledge of sustainability certifications (e.g., GRS, FSC, Oeko-Tex, Fair Trade).

• Proven ability to lead and implement ESG initiatives in complex, cross-functional environments.
