Consultant - Network and Security

Responsibilities

• Network Security Assessment: Evaluate existing network security measures and identify potential vulnerabilities

• Design and Implementation: Develop and implement secure network architectures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs

• Client Consultation: Work closely with clients to understand their security requirements and provide tailored solutions

• Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate staff on security best practices and policies

• Continuous Monitoring: Implement and manage monitoring tools to detect and respond to security threats in real-time for both customers and in-house environments

• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, security policies, and incident reports

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Network/Security Consultant or similar role
• Strong knowledge and proficiency in network security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint protection
• Well understanding of ITIL ITSM best practices follow up daily operation for both client and internal IT
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Relevant knowledge of product such as Palo Alto, HPE network, Fortinet, Mimecast, email filtering, WAF, Phishing product in a plus
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
