Security Consultant / Security Engineer (Ref: JDB/ENS/SC)

Responsibilities:

• Provide security consulting services including vulnerability assessment and penetration testing

• Perform security risk assessment, security audit and penetration testing

• Identify and recommend security safeguards and solutions, and provide general and technical security consultation and advice to user

• Perform network and host intrusion monitoring and detection

• Conduct source code review to identify software program vulnerabilities and detect malware

• Prepare deliverables such as security requirement report, security risk assessment report, security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures, etc., and deliver presentations

• Develop course materials and conduct training and education on IT security awareness and IT security skills

• Develop and review security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in IT or related discipline


• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT and 2 years particularly in IT security

• Experience in security risk assessment and audit on the Government is preferable


• Possesses at least one IT industry recognized certificates related to IT security, such as CCSP, CEH, OSCP, CISSP, CISA, CISM etc.

• Qualified as a Certified Practitioner in CSQA (Certified Software Quality Analyst) and/or CPIT(QAM) (Certified Professional IT (Quality Assurance Management)) is an advantage but not mandatory

• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Security Engineer
